Kitahama Law Office was founded in 1973 by three attorneys: Terumichi Saeki, Norihiko Yashiro (deceased) and Tatsuya Nishigaki (deceased). The office was originally named �gYashiro, Saeki & Nishigaki Law Firm�h, and according to the increase of its members, the office relocated to Kitahama, the traditional business center in Osaka, and its name was accordingly changed to �gKitahama Law Office�h.

While Kitahama Law Office has been providing quality services mainly for clients based in the Kansai area, the needs of our clients expanded more and more, and thereby Kitahama Partners L.P.C. was founded in Osaka in 2002 by several attorneys whose specialty is foreign affairs and intellectual property rights. Moreover, its Tokyo office was established in later 2002 and its Fukuoka office in 2006. Thus, Kitahama Partners L.P.C. currently has places of business in three important cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, which no other law firm has fulfilled thus far, while maintaining close relation with Kitahama Law Office for providing excellent service in Osaka. The Kitahama Partners L.P.C. has been renamed Kitahama Law Office L.P.C. in 2006; however, the name �gKitahama Partners�h is still used as the official English name representing the whole Kitahama Group, which consists of Kitahama Law Office and Kitahama Law Office L.P.C.

Simultaneously with the renaming of Kitahama Partners L.P.C., The Kitahama Partners has started a joint legal business with Jiri Mestecky, a registered U.S. attorney, in order to strengthen our firm�fs ability to respond to international cases. Jiri Mestecky, Esq. is thoroughly familiar with Japanese culture including language as well as Japanese manner of conducting business, and thus our office is able to provide higher accessibility for domestic clients.

After going through such transition history, The Kitahama Partners currently provides flexible legal services in all kinds of legal problems in both domestic and foreign cases.
