Other relevant laws include the Consumer Contract Act as it relates to direct transactions with consumers, the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, and the Installment Sales Act. In the years since the creation of the Consumer Affairs Agency and Consumer Commission, the revision of major laws and the enactment of new laws have continued unabated, making it highly necessary for corporations to consider their actions based upon a deep understanding of the latest trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Kitahama Partners, we provide wide-ranging services centered on various types of advice for the creation of compliance systems and the resolution of individual disputes in relation to consumer protection laws and regulations.
