History of Kitahama Partners

Kitahama Partners was originally started as a small law firm by 3 attorneys.

Attracted by their extraordinary enthusiasm, attorneys joined the firm one by one, and it has grown into a full-service law firm that today is able to provide high-level legal services.

    Kitahama Partners Tokyo Office relocated to Sapia Tower.

    The office created a Foreign Law Joint Enterprise with Registered Foreign Attorney, Jiri Mestecky.
    Kitahama Partners L.P.C. changed its Japanese name from “Bengoshi Hojin Kitahama Partners” to “Bengoshi Hojin Kitahama Houritsu Jimusho.”
    Kitahama Law Office and Kitahama Partners Osaka Office changed their names to Kitahama Partners.
    Kitahama Partners Tokyo Office changed its Japanese name from “Bengoshi Hojin Kitahama Partners Tokyo Jimusho” to Bengoshi Hojin Kitahama Houritsu Jimusho Tokyo Jimusho.”
    Kitahama Partners Fukuoka Office changed its Japanese name from “Bengoshi Hojin Kitahama Partners Fukuoka Jimusho” to “Bengoshi Hojin Kitahama Houritsu Jimusho Fukuoka Jimusho.”

    Kitahama Partners L.P.C. was established and its Tokyo Office opened in Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

  7. Apr 1986

    The law firm changed its name to Kitahama Law Office.

  8. Nov 1983

    The law firm relocated to Kitahama, Chuo-ku, Osaka and changed its name to Kitahama Kyodo Law Firm.

  9. Apr 1980

    The name of the law firm was changed to Umeshin Law Firm.

  10. Apr 1973

    Yashiro, Saeki & Nishigaki Law Firm was established by Terumichi Saeki, Norihiko Yashiro (deceased), and Tatsuya Nishigaki (deceased).

    “Helping persons in trouble is the role of the attorney. Let’s operate the firm with consideration and compassion for our clients and each other.”
    These 3 attorneys began the firm with “consideration and compassion” as their motto.
