The Kansai Electric Power Company, Incorporated: Investigation by a Third-party Committee
Kitahama Partners conducted an investigation within the Kansai Electric Power Group as part of a third-party committee in a case involving the issue that certain engineers and operators did not score high enough on the technical certification examinations, and thus, did not possess the necessary qualification requirements.
The Kitahama Partners team which handled the case was led by partners Toru Watanabe and Akinori Tani.
