Consumer Protection

Dealing with Qualified Consumer Organizations

Consumer organizations acknowledged under laws and regulations can sue for injunctive relief under the Consumer Contract Act and other laws, and also seek damages under the Consumer Court Proceedings Special Measures Act. More specifically, it is possible that going forward, there will be increasingly strong demands on behalf of consumers for changes in the content of agreements or practices and for repayment of monies paid under such agreements or practices.

Our firm is well-versed in these consumer protection laws and regulations, and is home to many attorneys with strong track records in handling litigation.
