Overview

When he was in high school, one of Atsuya Tanimura’s pivotal memories is of his family’s business being helped by an attorney. It was at that time Mr. Tanimura aspired to become an attorney because he admired the profession of attorneys which could not only save the client but also the client’s family and be helpful to many people.

As an attorney who has first-hand experience of being a client, Mr. Tanimura makes sincere efforts to provide tailor-made legal services with the first priority being to reflect the intentions and desires of clients as much as possible.

In addition, from his experience he has formed the view that legal issues often become difficult to resolve as time goes by, and therefore, he focuses on expediency as well as quality.

“Focus on the basics and continue to do so” is what Mr. Tanimura thinks is most important and has practiced this through his experience playing soccer from elementary school to the present. This practice also relates to the way in which attorneys carry out their work, and he tries to be of service to his clients by carefully handling each and every case and continuing daily self-improvement.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Tanimura has handled a wide variety of matters spanning numerous practice areas such as general corporate legal consultations, litigations and negotiations, legal due diligence assessments in connection with mergers and acquisitions, incorporation of companies in foreign jurisdictions , consultations concerning antitrust law and the Act Against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Presentations, large-scale bankruptcy receivership cases, fraud investigations, civil execution cases, and family court cases.

Mr. Tanimura strives to become an attorney who can work closely with his clients on a diverse range of legal issues.
