Overview
Daisuke Sakai has been mainly handling matters in the areas of M&A, corporate and dispute resolution. Specifically, his practice focuses on cross-border M&A. In cross-border M&A matters for Japanese clients, he represents them as a legal advisor, often handling matters of investment and acquisition by the client of overseas companies (i.e., outbound matters), and there are times when he represents foreign clients as a legal advisor and handles matters involving investment and acquisitions in Japan. In addition, he provides a variety of international legal services, including review of contracts written in English, as well as domestic M&A and dispute resolution matters, such as the handling of lawsuits.
