Overview
Since joining Kitahama Partners, Junya Oishi has handled a wide variety of corporate legal matters, primarily focusing on the field of intellectual property, ranging from daily consultations with corporate clients to dispute resolution matters including trademark infringement litigations. He has also accumulated in-depth experience in international matters, such as cross-border M&A transactions and dispute resolutions outside Japan.
In handling every matter, he strives not merely to provide legal opinions, but to thoroughly consider where the clients’ needs and concerns lie, and subsequently what methods will achieve the best interests of his clients.
Through his various experiences such as living overseas and working in the private sector, the diversity of cultures and environments he has been exposed to has cultivated his ability to deepen mutual understanding. He is confident that this ability is well utilized in his daily practice. Going forward, by leveraging these strengths, he continues to make every effort to deepen his understanding of the circumstances and needs of his clients in order to meet their expectations.
