Overview
Mika Akiyama has had the experience of living in both the U.S. and Belgium for a total of about 13 years. Ms. Akiyama is a member of the North Carolina Bar, and has worked in the immigration practice groups of U.S. law firms, mainly handling visas for expatriates. She is currently a member of the North America Practice Group of Kitahama Partners, and she assists Japanese corporations in expanding to U.S. markets, often collaborating with U.S. law firms to conduct legal research and file various governmental applications in the U.S. She also drafts, reviews and translates agreements in both English and Japanese.
