Having served as a public prosecutor from the outset of his career, where he was engaged in criminal investigations and trials, and organizational and risk management at the Public Prosecutors Office nationwide, Ryotaro Oba was also involved in the administration of legal affairs and providing legal technical assistance to foreign nations in Asia for the purpose of the development of laws at the Ministry of Justice, and the development of the accessibility to justice at the Japan Legal Support Center. Wishing to utilize this rich experience after retiring from the position of a Superintending Prosecutor, Mr. Oba registered as an attorney-at-law in April 2023. Since doing so, he has been engaged in corporate fraud investigations for companies and other entities, criminal complaints and trials, while also giving lectures on the topic of ‘Criminal Justice and Risk Management’. Having qualified as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in September 2024, Mr. Oba strives to continue meeting a wide range of legal service needs for his clients
