Overview
Takahiro Yagi handles M&A transactions for listed and unlisted companies, corporate matters involving corporate procedures, and IT/technology-related cases. In his practice, in addition to providing legal support, to help clients solve their problems, Mr. Yagi looks for the best way to proceed, while organizing and solving problems along the way, in search of the client’s ideal solution. In this way, Mr. Yagi views his role as “preparing the way” for his clients. Each day, Mr. Yagi does his utmost for clients, while keeping up with ever-changing social issues and seeking new ways to improve as an attorney.
Because M&A transactions are accomplished not just through stock transfers but also involve various
other methods, such as reorganization procedures and tender offers, completing a successful transaction requires considering many aspects, such as the design of the overall scheme, tax issues, and how the specific details of the transaction will proceed. To this end, Mr. Yagi provides detailed and holistic support, making full use of his professional knowledge and experience.
In addition, having been seconded to the legal departments of an IT consulting firm and an automobilecompany, Mr. Yagi makes use of this experience, as well, to provide functional legal advice to clients
