Toshiaki Nakanishi’s main areas of practice are corporate rehabilitation, M&A, and real estate development. He has focused on corporate rehabilitation since joining the firm, and has handled a wide variety of cases. His practice also includes private liquidation, which has recently become more common than court ordered liquidation. Moreover, when handling corporate rehabilitation matters, Mr. Nakanishi often represents the seller’s side in M&A transactions; however, he has also been involved in a number of transactions on the buyer’s side. He has also dealt with a wide variety of development related matters, including those involving real estate developers and general contractors, and has accumulated a deep knowledge and experience as a legal advisor in such areas.
