In addition to providing daily legal consultations, Yoshino Ikegawa handles a wide range of cases that include real estate and construction litigation, derivative actions, dealing with governmental entities in the field of economic law, merger and acquisition due diligence, and consultations on divorce and inheritance matters. Recently, she has also gained experience in fraud investigations involving major Japanese companies and cross-border insolvency cases. Also, having been interested in advertising and PR since her days as a student, Ms. Ikegawa provides legal advice regarding TV commercials, posters, package designs, and related matters.
One of Ms. Ikegawa’s greatest strengths is having the perseverance to carry on her work to achieve the intended goals. Since her first year as an attorney, she has advised corporate clients, regardless of their size, and has taken legal approaches from both an offensive and defensive standpoint. For example, in cases where it is important for the client to establish and maintain relationships with existing business partners, while at the same time expanding sales channels by planning and executing new business, it is necessary to not only have a broad knowledge of the legal issues but also a sense of balance in strategic planning given the limitations of the client’s circumstances. Working with the client to find that balance is always very rewarding for her.
Furthermore, Ms. Ikegawa has extensive experience as a litigator, and based on this familiarity, she is able to anticipate future developments from the early stages of disputes and pursue strategies to meet various needs.
Ms. Ikegawa continues to work diligently on each and every case, securing solutions that satisfy her clients.
