Overview
Since joining the firm, Yuma Sato has dealt with a number of cases in both the fields of corporate legal affairs and general civil affairs. In particular, in the practice of competition law, Mr. Sato has dealt with a wide range of issues, from submitting notifications relating to business combination reviews and various consultations relating to the Antimonopoly Act, the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, and the Subcontracting Act. In the field of IT legal affairs, he has dealt with a wide range of issues, from dispute prevention, such as reviewing contracts concerning software development, to responding to emergencies, such as system development disputes and legal issues following ransomware damage.
As an attorney, when consulting with clients, Mr. Sato believes that it is important to be attentive in order to understand the ideal situation they want to realize, and to support them to the fullest extent.
He prides himself on doing his best to support his clients so that he can provide the optimal solutions for his clients by taking advantage of his experience and further expanding his knowledge base and know-how.
