Overview
Akihito Taniguchi is involved in a broad range of corporate legal matters across many fields, including corporate affairs centering around mergers and acquisitions, including financing, such as assistance in initial public offerings and ventures, structured financing and real estate financing, as well as inter-enterprise disputes.
With regard to mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Taniguchi is experienced in handling complex cases ranging from stock transfers and restructuring, including mergers, company splits and joint ventures, to take-over bids and third-party allocation of new shares. In addition, making use of his experience of having been seconded to a securities firm to underwrite public offerings, Mr. Taniguchi actively assists clients in initial public offerings and ventures. Mr. Taniguchi has also accumulated a great deal of experience in resolving inter-enterprise disputes.
