International Arbitration in New York
Kitahama Partners represented a Japanese company in a case in which a non-Japanese company filed an arbitration in New York against the Japanese company, which had not signed the agreement, claiming that the Japanese company had violated the agreement by terminating the supply of parts for household appliances that had previously been manufactured by the Japanese company.
The Kitahama Partners team which handled the case was led by partners Masafumi Kodama and Yasumasa Sakamoto.
