International Arbitration in Singapore
Kitahama Partners represented a Japanese company in a case in which a non-Japanese company filed an arbitration claim in Singapore against the Japanese company alleging that there were defects in the modules of photovoltaic panels in a solar power system, which had been manufactured and delivered by the Japanese company, without going through the pre-arbitration negotiation procedures in accordance with the relevant agreement.
Masafumi Kodama and Jun Kawanami led the Kitahama Partners team which handled the case.
