Overview
Although Yusuke Takaoka has extensive experience in handling negotiations and litigation related to general civil matters, as well as bankruptcy and reorganization cases, he has also handled numerous cases relating to corporate law, such as mergers & acquisitions, shareholder meetings, shareholder disputes in privately-held companies (including lawsuits and other matters with respect to shareholder meetings), court-appointed inspectors (assistants) for shareholders’ meetings, and deputy directors.
In addition, during a three-year secondment to a securities company, Mr. Takaoka was involved in numerous M&A transactions as a financial advisor for listed companies, gaining a great deal of M&A experience from the financial advisor’s perspective, such as with respect to corporate valuation and schedule management.
Taking advantage of this experience, Mr. Takaoka’s practice focuses on M&A transactions, in addition to the corporate law-related matters he handled prior to his secondment.
